FloriDUH: Residents call it ‘Pickle Park’ for a reason

Parents in one Punta Gorda neighborhood are grateful the Charlotte County Sheriff’s deputies cleaned out Alligator Creek, a heavily wooded area known as a sex park, reports MSNBC.com in Fort Myers.

For nearby residents, this is a big “dill.”

In the past, Alligator Creek was noted for fishing, but more recently, parent Tabitha Larrauri told MSNBC News, it’s known as, “‘Pickle Park,’ that’s all I know it as.”

“It’s where men go. They park their vehicle, they walk back to the woods, they do business they’re not supposed to be doing and they walk out,” Larrauri told MSNBC News.

For now, deputies want to ensure the park is used for its natural resources and not anything else.
