Nice weather attracts revelers to the high-top tables and bars overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway at Deck 84 in Delray Beach. And the nicer the weather, the larger the crowd. But when the skies open up, the restaurant offers a consolation to patrons: the When It Rains, We Pour promotion. Anytime it starts raining, Deck 84 enacts happy-hour pricing. That means half off any item that’s priced $16 or less. The regular happy hour includes half-priced beer, wines by the glass, and mixed and frozen drinks. Food includes pulled-pork sliders, chicken wings, deviled eggs, sausage-and-apple flatbread and mussels.
Hours: 3-6 p.m. weekdays
Recommended drink: Tito’s Off the Dock, with vodka, fresh mint and muddled strawberries. Normally $12, it’s $6 during happy hour.
