I’m tired of hearing about the so-called “homeless.”Whatever happened to the words bum, tramp and hobo?
I would say that about 90 percent of the so-called “homeless” are and always will be bums. It’s their way of life: Live without working. I wonder just how many of these “homeless” would work if offered a job.
Why work? There are always the do-gooders to look after their needs. If they are disabled veterans, they get disability pensions. If they are not disabled, they could find work if they really want to.
I can just see the headline in a nationwide “Hobo newspaper”: “Come to sunny Fort Lauderdale. Live free. Plenty of handouts, food, shelter, pity, etc. Even the county is looking after us and the stupid taxpayers are paying for it.”
I really enjoyed the remark one of the “homeless” made in an article, when they were moving them from a park to their new location: “Moving to the new location is too far from the liquor store.”
