A fourth man suspected of being involved in the Memorial Day shooting that injured nine people on the Hollywood Broadwalk was arrested Sunday evening, leaving one suspect yet to be found.
Police announced Saturday they obtained arrest warrants for Ariel Cardahn Paul, Jordan Burton and Lionel Jean Charles Jr. Paul was arrested Sunday about 8 p.m., and U.S Marshals and Hollywood police detectives took Burton into custody Saturday around 1:30 p.m. Charles Jr. remains at large.
They are the ones who fired guns after a fight in the midst of crowds enjoying the holiday on the beachside strip, Hollywood Police said in a news release.
“We would like to remind anyone who may be assisting these suspects in avoiding capture that they are
violent offenders and you too can be held responsible for your actions,” Officer Christian Lata wrote in a news release announcing Burton’s arrest Saturday.
Each of the men is facing charges of attempted murder in the first degree, eight counts of attempted murder in the second degree and one count of carrying a concealed firearm.
Two other men who were involved but were not the shooters were arrested last week, Morgan Deslouches, 18, of Hollywood, and Keshawn Paul Stewart, 18, of Dania Beach.
Deslouches was arrested on charges of grand theft of a firearm, carrying a concealed firearm and altering the identification of a firearm, according to a probable cause affidavit. Stewart is facing a charge of carrying a concealed firearm.
Seven of the nine victims wounded have been released from the hospital since Monday. Five guns, two of which were stolen, were recovered.
