Actor Rob Lowe has canceled his May 19 appearance at Fort Lauderdale’s Broward Center for the Performing Arts, citing a scheduling conflict.
Tickets purchased from the Broward Center box office, Parker Playhouse and Ticketmaster will be automatically refunded to the credit card used for the original purchase.
Tickets purchased in-person with cash at the box office or at a Ticketmaster retail outlet must be returned to the point of purchase for a refund. For more information, visit BrowardCenter.org.
Lowe was to perform his one-man show “Stories I Only Tell My Friends Live,” which draws on memories from four decades as Hollywood heartthrob and Emmy-nominated (“The West Wing”) television star.
Currently hosting the Fox network game show “Mental Samurai,” Lowe has been performing “Stories I Only Tell My Friends Live” around the country on varying weekends. Upcoming performances in Columbus, Ohio (May 31), and Detroit (June 14), also have been canceled due to a scheduling issue.
