“Scream Queens” star Keke Palmer paid tribute to Aaliyah by dressing up as the late singer for Halloween and mimicking her choreography in a new video.
Palmer, who was born in Harvey and grew up in Robbins, wore a white top and black pants to re-create Aaliyah’s “Try Again” music video. She posted the tribute Saturday on Instagram.
Palmer, 22, last week released the music video for her new single “I Don’t Belong to You.” She’s set to appear next year in Fox’s live TV production of “Grease.”
Aaliyah, who was married to Chicago R&B artist R. Kelly, died in a plane crash in 2001.
