Dear Chip & Jonathan: Here are some tips for Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. To find the casino, go to Booster’s Tower (after you beat it) and find the Knife Guy. Play his game with him several times until he gives you a Bright Card. Go through Bean Valley until you get to a circle of pipes. Go down the top one. Defeat the Chomp in the corner, stand in the palace where it was and jump three times. A secret passageway will open up to the Grate Guy’s casino.
To get the Lazy Shell, Mario’s most powerful weapon, go to Nimbus Land (after you beat Valentina). Outside the castle, on the right side, there is a hidden path that leads out into mid-air. Walk along the right-side border to find it. You will find Shy Away, who will give you the fertilizer. Go to Rose Town and give the seed and the fertilizer to the gardener who lives in the back. He’ll grow a beanstalk that leads to the clouds, where you’ll find the Lazy Shell and Armor.
To get the Frying Pan, Toadstool’s most powerful weapon, go to Moleville after you beat Valentina and buy the Metal Plate from the Mystery Shop.
To get the Troopa Pin, scale the cliffs in Land’s End in less than 12 seconds.
When you are in the sunken ship, in the part where you are underwater (right before you get to Jonathan Jones), walk behind the pile of barrels in the corner. You’ll find a secret room where you will get a Safety Ring that protects you from many spells.
To get as many Frog coins as you need, go to Belome Temple and have your fortune told (make sure you have at least 100 coins). Hit the faces on the wall in this order: right, left, center. Go down the pipe and hit the treasure box – you’ll get 100 coins or a Frog coin. Repeat the process. – Tre’ Perry, West Columbia, Texas.

Dear Chip & Jonathan: To play as Chameleon in MK Trilogy for PlayStation, pick one of the ninjas (original Sub-Zero, Ermac, Human Smoke, Reptile, Scorpion, Rain or Noob Saibot). Hold run, block, high punch, high kick, and back (left). This works best with original Sub-Zero. – Eli Howe, Columbus, Ohio.
Dear Eli: We should mention that you press and hold the buttons before the match begins. For player two to access Chameleon, just press right instead of left. And we find it works best with Human Smoke.
Also, for a level select, at the character select screen highlight Sonya, then hold start and press up.
For a “konfigure” menu, go to options and highlight any box. Hold all four L and R buttons and press and hold up. The screen will shake if you do it right.
